Summer Picnic June 21, 2014:
Our second annual Local 435 summer picnic for members, apprentices and retirees on Saturday, June 21st, was a great time. The weather was Amazing! The highlight of the day was listening to the kids laugh and watching them have fun being entertained by Jimmy C’ Entertainment Group, playing games, face painting, and mastering the egg toss game. Prizes were handed out for all kids, ages 12 and under, so that each one walked away with a prize. Adults walked away with a few prizes too. The merry-go-round was available, free of charge, and each person was able to enjoy an ice cream at Abbotts. It’s always great to get together to see old friends or to make new ones. Hearing members reminisce and share their stories is always great fun and we learn how construction keeps changing. Please share your feedback with us; good or bad, as it will help us plan for next year’s event. Thank you for all who attended and helped out in making our picnic a success.
