Friends,

Today is the first day of a weeklong online competition to determine which of 10 Congressional candidates will receive the support of Senator Russ Feingold's "Progressive Patriots" fund. Today, I'm asking you to use 30 seconds to help our grassroots campaign in the easiest way possible. Taking just a moment could be the difference for Eric Massa in our razor thin race.

Sign the Petition to Build America

A generation ago America put a man on the moon – but today we can no longer be assured of crossing bridges safely or being safe from failing dams or levees. Sign the petition to Build America and help collect signatures -

Martin Luther King Jr. began with the Montgomery bus boycott involving Rosa Parks. He began to lead at the age of 26 and was assassinated  at the age of 39. He was truly gifted and had vision at such a young age.
I truly see this leader as one of the Greatest.

Important Message From Your General President

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I am writing today with an important request. Next Monday
morning will mark a historic first for our union and all unions.

The Democratic Presidential Candidates will be appearing at our
Leadership Conference in Chicago and every LIUNA member will be
able to see and hear the candidates through a national live
webcast.

Help spread the word about the webcast by distributing the
flyers which were mailed to your local union hall. You can
download the flyer at
http://liunaactionnetwork.org/ct/871pJh51uq8F/ and you can get
the latest details about the webcast at
http://liunaactionnetwork.org/ct/i11pJh51uq8J/.

By spreading the word, we can help make sure presidential
candidates pay attention to the issues that matter and feel the
power of LIUNA members.

Sincerely,

Terence M. O'Sullivan
